FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS FLEXIBLE NUTRITION RIGHT FOR ME?

I do not believe in a one size fits all dietary approach. While Flexible Nutrition can be effective for everyone, it may not be the right approach for you and your lifestyle and that is ok! It is a great option if you have specific goals and can put in the appropriate amount of time and effort in working towards those goals. I have worked with individuals of all shapes, sizes, ages, and backgrounds who have seen incredible changes through Flexible Nutrition - from busy moms and working professionals to active students and elite athletes.

HOW IS FLEXIBLE NUTRITION DIFFERENT THAN OTHER DIETS?

Flexible Nutrition is based on breaking the traditional “diet mentality” of needing to restrict yourself from the foods you enjoy in order to work towards your goals. There are no “good” or “bad” foods, “clean” meals and “cheat” meals, and no strict rules to follow. Flexible Nutrition allows you to eat the foods you want when you want them and helps you focus on building healthy habits as you do so.

WHAT IS FLEXIBLE NUTRITION?

Flexible Nutrition is about fueling your body properly to achieve aesthetic, performance, or lifestyle-related goals. Whether you are looking to lean out, gain strength in the gym, or just increase your energy levels throughout the day, this approach allows you to tailor your nutrition to your specific goals while providing you with the flexibility to eat the foods you like.

There are no “clean” foods and no “bad” foods. You do not have to deprive yourself of your favorite treats or restrict yourself from going out to eat with friends. Flexible Nutrition allows you to break the cycle of restricting and binging by creating healthy eating habits focused on balance and moderation.

IS THIS ONLY FOR THOSE WANTING TO LOSE WEIGHT?

Absolutely not! Flexible Nutrition is a great strategy for any goal you are working towards. Maybe you are trying to gain muscle mass, maintain your weight and improve your daily energy, or focus more on performance-oriented goals. Flexible Nutrition will help you understand the appropriate amount to eat for those specific goals while managing menopause and supporting health goals as we age.

DOES FLEXIBLE NUTRITION MEAN I GET TO EAT JUNK FOOD ALL OF THE TIME?

Big nope! The idea behind Flexible Nutrition is that we step away from the idea of restricting ourselves of “bad” foods and eating only “clean” foods. That mentality rarely produces sustainable results. If you want a treat, a dessert, or a meal out, you can have it as long as you make it work within your macro goals. Eating only calorie-dense junk will probably not help you feel your best, so the focus should be on finding balance.

WHY 3 MONTHS?

For the best results both physically and mentally three months is a good time frame to work within.  I have coached many clients and the best results come from those that can commit to investing three months of time in the program.  Mindset is a practice and lifestyle change is long-term - Join us for three months to an incredible new you!

CAN I GET A REFUND?

Oh no, say it ain’t so! All programs and retreats are non-refundable. However, I know that life happens and in that case, money paid into a program can be transferred into another coaching program in the future.  Retreats canceled less than 30 days prior to check-in are subject to a non-refundable room deposit paid to our resort/retreat home or onsight location. The balance leftover we will gladly transfer to another retreat or coaching program in the future.
